Yesterday, I pre-purchased 4 new tires, including installation for my truck on Walmart online. It scheduled me to be at the Walmart Tomball Auto center between 9-10 an. I arrived before 10 a.m., and the department personnel had no record of my purchase until I showed them my online order information.
They located my tires in the stockroom and got my truck in the tire bay about 11 am.
My truck was the only vehicle in the six bay shop with two tech in the shop not working.
About 12, I went out in the shop to see if my truck was done, only to find that the 3 tires were off the truck, but none of the tires had been changed. (Remember, only changing 4 tires) The tech that was working on my truck was nowhere to be found.
About 12:30, I returned to the shop to see one tech working on my tires, but still no tires had been mounted on my truck.
At, 1pm, I approached the two techs who were now working on another vehicles tires and asked if they could please finish my truck because I had already been waiting for over 3 hours. They ignored me, so I went inside and complained to the manager... he went out to speak with the techs and returned to tell me it would be done in about 20 minutes.
My truck was finally finished at about 2 pm....about 4 hours to change 4 tires on my truck.
Least to say, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated at how poor the service was on a job that should have taken 30 minutes to complete - unbelievable.
I own a business in the area, and I will never use Tomball Walmart Auto Center for my company or personal vehicles again.
