There is this one employee in particular named Charlie, And I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of customer service I always receive from them. Charlie is always incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about their customers. Every time I see them, They’re consistently kind. Not just to me but to everyone. Even when I’m in self-checkout, I overhear the amazing service Charlie provides to customers at their register. I sometimes want to stop by and say hi, But I don’t want to interrupt their transactions. Charlie is truly a shining example of excellent customer service. If someone asks “What does good customer service mean to you?” just think of Charlie. Also, Big shoutout to Emri at customer service! You were absolutely killing it. I can only imagine how tough the day might’ve been (I work in retail so I know how challenging customers can be) but you kept such a positive attitude while helping me with my return. Thank you for being so patient and kind. Unfortunately, I did have a pretty annoying encounter with another worker named Mundo. (Nice name tho) I needed some batteries unlocked, And after Mundo finished checking out their long line of customers (that I wasn’t just going to interrupt…Though I should’ve) They told me, “Well you need to stand in line” I was confused because I’ve never had to stand in line for batteries before (not to sound like that person) It usually just requires pressing the assistance button. My cart was all the way at self checkout too. If that’s the policy, There should be signage explaining it because what is the button actually there for lol! I actually don’t have a problem with this part. What made the encounter so bad was…Mundo’s attitude. They spoke to me in an overly simplified tone, Like I was an idiot, Which was both unnecessary and frustrating. I’m sure I did look like an “idiot” because I was literally looking around trying to figure out why and who they were talking to like that because it absolutely could NOT have been me. I suppose I was in “shock” lol. They need to chill out and approach interactions more professionally if this is a constant thing. That said, I wouldn’t let this bad experience take away from how great Charlie, Emri, And Daniel are. Their kindness and stellar customer service far outweigh any negativity.
I recently transferred my prescriptions to Walmart after repeatedly having an unpleasant experience at Walgreens. The Walgreens I went to claimed they no longer accepted GoodRx coupons…which makes zero sense because that’s literally the point of GoodRx?? I was willing to pay full price, But then they kept forcing me to sign some ridiculous form saying I could lose my insurance for paying out of pocket. It was exhausting, So I finally switched over. Today was my first time picking up my prescription at Walmart and I was shocked at how much smoother the process was. I wasn’t even expecting a coupon, But I was given one without even asking. Daniel helped me out and honestly did more for me in under 5 minutes than those Walgreens pharmacists ever did. He made the transaction simple and stress free, And the pharmacist was super kind and professional too. Way better experience all around.
