We decided to do an online grocery check pick up yesterday, since they’ve basically gotten rid of cashiers and lines are long if you don’t want self check out. The order was delayed being ready, so when it was finally ready almost an hour late, we looked at it and they said several very common items were unavailable. I didn’t believe it, so I went into the store and got the “unavailable” items myself. They were all in stock. I then went to the online pick up location. Every pick up spot was full and I sat there for almost an hour before I saw any employee bring stuff to any cars. After two hours of sitting there, an employee finally came close enough to me, I got out of my car and talked to him. He sent his manager to talk to me. She was the store manager and claimed she had no idea what was going on. She said the person getting my order must have clicked “no pick” on items to make it go faster. She didn’t seem to care at all that we all wasted our night in their parking lot. This is ridiculous! If you can’t provide a service, don’t offer it or close the store if you don’t have enough staff!!!
