Walgreens in Savannah

I went in here after leaving the ER with strep throat. I felt really bad and I know I looked badly in need of medicine. The ladies at the front ( I will update their names later after I stop in and ask ) couldn't give me an estimated time on the meds being filled. I tried hide my disappointment, thanked them , and said I would return after the text. I stopped by a few places to get sick supplies and grabbed a hot plate to pick at to kill time before returning 2 or 3 hours later I'm not sure exactly the time. There was a specific lady who ensured me upon me returning that she would try her best to get the medicine before the time I told her I had to leave ( again this was another 3 hours from that moment but I just wanted to ensure it could be filled as I don't live near that location) so I sat down and waited playing Pokemon. It may have been another hour or so I'm not completely sure but even with a constant line of customers she came through for me allowing me to get the prescriptions filled. I want to say that the location here never stops and the workers here are doing their best with what they have. I really appreciate them and the service I observed today as a Walgreens customer and the service I witnessed others receive. I watched them be willing to go the extra mile and it ment a lot to me. Please take time to thank the pharmacy workers if you get a chance and let them know that you appreciate their help.

I have used Walgreens Pharmacy on Derenne for all prescription needs for my family. It is close to all our doctors’ appointments (great location), the wait is fair for prescriptions, and the hours are great to get the meds you need during the week. Recently I had a minor issue and Debbie the manager and team went above and beyond to correct the issue and did it in a very timely manner. Nilly along with the pharmacists are also great!

I moved to Savannah Georgia February 2023 and transferred my meds to this Walgreens from Florida. The staff here is amazing. I am very impressed with the pharmacy staff. Had flu shot this morning and didn't even feel the needle. I highly recommend and praise this pharmacy.

I had to phone this location to speak with the pharmacy staff regarding medication questions. The pharmacist Ethan answered the phone, provided exceptional customer service with a strong willingness to assist. I have never had a pharmacist to go out of his/her way to provide the assistance that Ethan provided. Thank you so much for going the extra mile!!!

Though this location can be busy and sometimes runs out of things, I prefer this Walgreens to the others around town. The staff is always friendly to us and helpful. They have even gone out of their way a couple times when dealing with the insurance to make it easier to get our prescriptions when needed. I also love that it's open 24 hours.

Store is in good condition, adequately stocked and items shelved properly, awesome employees, clean environment, all the usual compliments. I rated 5 stars not just for the above reasons, but also because this location is still open 24 hours, has security at night, and is located right next to Memorial Hospital.

Jalen was AWESOME! It’s Like He Knew Exactly How To Treat Me When I Walked In The Door! I love this Walgreens now because of him, I had a doordash order and had to shop for some things for a customer, Jalen helped me with every single item in less than 5mins AND THEN checked me out! Haha! I enjoyed the experience, because he made me feel comfortable and respected my boundaries and space due to covid regulations, of course.
