Walgreens in Liberty

Friendly staff, clean building, inside and out and well stocked for all your needs! I've never seen or met a checkout employee that wasn't friendly and efficient! Quite impressive! We did visit for an "over the counter" medication that empty. We were told by the Pharmacist "Lisa" that she'd order it in ASAP and call us or have someone else call..... it's been a week with no call back! Ehhh, that's the way it goes! Ordered it online from elsewhere and it was here the following day! 😀 It's wonderful this is a 24 hour store and we know if there's something we need in an emergency we can rely upon this place to be open.... that's reassuring!

Made an appointment online to get the vaccine for a specific time. I was standing in line for 10 minutes and not a single person acknowledged me....finally had to call out someone to get their attention. Stood in line for another 10 minutes before anyone came over to help me. Good thing I scheduled an appointment....Definitely would not recommend this Walgreens

Well today at the Liberty location on Kansas store #04439, I had the worst customer service ever..I have been patronizing this establishment since 2019 and I shopped here 3 to 5 times a week mostly...I handled the cashier's Carrie Lee my money and held my hand out for my change and she put it on the counter like she didn't see my hand. I looked over that one but she did it again and put all of my money lined up on the counter. I stated that I put my money in your hand and I need you to put it back in my money. It was so embarrassing that she did. The lady behind me stated that it was about respect to the cashier and she acted like that wasn't what she was going to give me. I asked for the manager and when he arrived, I explained to him and he seemed to not care at all. So I asked for a refund. After, I received my refund I told him I wanted my items but not with the disrespect she was giving. I was so shocked and I am going to wait until I talk to someone who hopefully will call me back about her position there before I transfer all my prescriptions and go where I feel valued and appreciated at for patronizing this establishment. Walgreens this was a total let down on Carrie Lee branding for your store at this location. I really hope no one else goes through this while several others were in line behind me . SHE DOES NOT BELONG NO WHERE NEAR YOUR BRAND!!!???... SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED PERIOD!!!... I made a complaint about this with the number on the back of the receipt so hopefully two days someone who knows this wasn't right can explain if this is their policy and training procedures. I never saw no cashier just put your money on the counter while your hand out to receive it instead. I was given service in a very nasty attitude and disgraceful act instead. This must be condemned not the new normal at all.

I spent all day today going back and forth over the phone with Isaac at the pharmacy about “an insurance issue” and was told I can’t get the refill I was requesting from my insurance for 2 more weeks. They also tell me my insurance only covers 1 month of my medication but after Isaac couldn’t help me, I called Walgreens at Barry and N Oak and they could give me my usual 3 month supply the following morning.I have a friend dealing with the same issue with her medication at Liberty location. I’m not sure what they’re doing over there but they’re giving me inaccurate information on my insurance coverage.I do want to add that Isaac was polite and responsive through our whole interaction, he was just ultimately unable to resolve my issue and I know there was a way to fix it because Walgreens on N oak/barry rd was able to fix it in 1 less than 5 minute phone call.

Waited 5 hours after the doctor submitted 3 scripts. 1 was filled in an hour. The other 2 were sent to their fulfillment center for delivery in 3 days. The website just says in progress. No notification that they aren't filling it at that store. When you finally call they act surprised that you need it before 3 days and say it will be ready in 20 minutes. I remember when Walgreens was a good pharmacy.

Ari is absolutely awful to deal with. I had a screaming baby and just needed to buy a can of formula and had been waiting in line forever. He had to run over and check the price on liquor and instead of helping me after checking the person out with liquor he ran to the back of the store to let someone into the bathroom. Seriously should be fired immediately for the way he treated me. When I asked for a manager he absolutely refused said he was the manager and then told me he wasn't going to sell me formula. And by the time I was ready to go I videotaped him he was shaking like a leaf out of anger. This person should be fired immediately and if the store manager doesn't want to do anything I will take this to corporate. He said I'm more worried about that man peeing on himself in my store then your baby.

I had to get a lot of prescriptions due to my illnesses I picked them up on 8/6/24 and the pharmacy tech at the drive through window was very kind and did his job greatI had to return the next day and it was him again and went above and beyond to help me receive my medication:) Thanks Walgreens

Thanks, Walgreens for wasting my time. Yeah, so today I went into the Liberty Walgreens I was in a bit of time crunch because I had a family member leaving town very soon and I was trying to print pictures for them. When I walked in the store asked three people, three different people hey does that thing work your picture printers because I’m gonna download pictures it’s gonna take me a while and I don’t have a lot of time. All the employees yes that Instant Pictures work. I sat there for an hour I tried to print it ….guess what. It didn’t work. The lady walked over and said That doesn’t work. I didn’t say anything I just got up and left. I called the manager and said look three employees told me the camera worked. I sat there for an hour. I was just on a time crunch otherwise it wouldn’t mattered. I said monkeys must’ve done a little better and he’s Don’t call my employees monkeys??? Great customer service had even say that

This pharmacy vaccinated my 15 year old without a parent present. Pharmacies have a responsibility to insure that proper consent is given. Did you know my child’s medical issues or allergies? NO! Complete & reckless disregard for a parents right to informed consent to protect their child and a COMPLETE failure for the child. You should lose your license.

Decent location, and staff is always friendly and professional. That said, pharmacy drive through used to be the best. Now it seems they always have one lane blocked off, and the line of cars is 2 miles long. They need more staff and/or the staff that they do have needs additional training. Efficiency is not at its best. Of course, in their defense, many customers are not prepared when they arrive at the window, but regardless, I never had this kind of wait time at CVS.

I have a love hate relationship with pharmacies. It isn’t because of the staff or anything they can usually control. If they don’t have a medication I don’t believe that is necessarily their fault. Although I will say, I had a difficult situation with medication for my father who has stage 4 cancer. I was able to verify this location had the medication in stock. When I showed up I was told there was an insurance issue. So I explained I recently tried to fill it at a different Walgreens location. The technician was very kind and asked the pharmacist for assistance in overriding the insurance issue since we never received the medication (the other Walgreens didn’t have it in stock). The pharmacist was able to work magic and put a rush on my dad’s prescriptions. I am grateful for the kind and superb customer service I received today. I know the retail pharmacy industry and how easy it is to be discouraged while working there. The lady who assisted me was kind, courteous, and professional. She is the face of Walgreens pharmacy at this location. Thank you for your kindness, help, and understanding. You hired a good one, Walgreens. Give this girl a raise. 🤍

Pharmacy's in general just suck, this place is beyond slow, they said an hr wait for 3 pills, and 2 hrs later they still have not done it, but yet sitting in the drive thru window, there can't make us all way an hr in the drive thru, I saw them grab the list, complete the 3 pills, and send us on our way. And yet they can take as long as the get want to fill a script and no one will say anything. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🤡🤡🤡🤡🖕🖕🖕🖕

Long time Walgreens customer and I'm disappointed with the service at this location. My visit frequency at this location is once monthly and I dread coming here. It's very unfortunate as I'm sure the staff are doing their best. It's apparent that there is a problem with servicing the demand of customers. I will likely be transferring to another pharmacy.

Slow and absolutely no communication. They are always short staffed and they like to choose their own hours a lot. They close the pharmacy at odd hours through the day with no explanation. They kept forgetting to refill my sons medication for months even though I would call and have it filled and they would say they put the order in and ended up never doing it. This went on for months. I will never use Walgreens again.

I am a regular customer of this store. Oftentimes, the service is fairly slow as many of its customers realize that the store is understaffed. However, what happened to me today was a shocker. I just wonder why I was treated that way.I arrived at 1:00pm for an appointment today at 1:20pm. I waited in line for almost 50 minutes to get to my turn to talk to the pharmacist (I assumed). I said I had an appointment at 1:20pm. Without asking me what I had an appointment for, she assumed that I had a covid shot appointment (I realized after that). So she immediately told me that she was behind her work and she already had 4 shots before me. I completely understood. She told me to walk around, shop or sit somewhere to wait without checking me in. I had to run around to find another staff to talk to as she continued working on her things without looking at me. Eventually I found and talked to one employee and she brought my question and concern to the pharmacist. Finally, they decided to check me in. It was 2:15pm.My first takeaway from this incident is that in general, Walgreens or at least this store let its customers book an appointment but there is a real chance that the appointment would not be honored. Second, there is a real chance that certain customers like me may not be welcome here with a service request.I left the store, feeling so sad and discouraged to come back to this store again, unfortunately. :(

Dec 7. I’ve been waiting on a necessary prescription that I’ve been taking for many years. Covered by Medicare and UHC insurance. My Dr ordered a refill before Thanksgiving, which I tried to pick up after notification that a prescription was ready, on 11/24 and 11/25. The pharmacist said they had no prescription for me although Ive been getting it from their pharmacy for over a year.Today after calls again that my prescription is ready….I tried to confirm that it is actually there.The robo answer I got named the drug but quoted the price at more than 4 times the regular cost.Today I’ve been waiting on hold for an hour, trying to speak to a person.I will probably be transferring my pharmacy needs to WalMart. This service is unacceptable for not being able to get a drug that is extremely dangerous to be without.

Pulled all my prescriptions from this store and transferred to another pharmacy months ago, after years of too many errors on my Rx, long wait times in pick up, and incorrect co-pay charges, I finally HAD to switch to another pharmacy.This store has become a disaster. Two days in a row, had two different, half baked, hipster cashiers and neither knew how to handle simple tasks, make correct change, zero customer service skills and personalities of a rock. A older female cashier last week, was so slow:, slow ringing customers up, slow giving change, not bagging customers items, talking way too much, not focusing on what she was suppose to be doing, it was just awful!

I am over the incredibly terrible customer service and communication to customers about altered store and pharmacy hours. I get that everyone is struggling during the pandemic. I get we’re all stretched thin. I, too, work in customer service. But, be kind. Acknowledge the customer. Finally, the rewards system often times does not work and the manager was unwilling to put the coupon in manually, which I know is possible because they’ve had to do it before when the “clipped” coupons aren’t working correctly. When I told him how disappointed I was at his unwillingness to fix THEIR SYSTEM’S error, he told me to call the 800 number, for which he was not able to provide. If all my scripts weren’t established here I would never be back. This is only the last straw. I perpetually have customer service issues at this store. It’s in my town and I want to support the store, but they are making it difficult. On a quest now to find this mysterious 800 number.

I don't recommend this pharmacy as a last resort. I just had emergency surgery for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and my boyfriend went to go pick up the meds THAT I GOT NOTIFICATION WERE READY and when he got there they gave him a hard time saying that one of the scripts was not sent over when we had paperwork with us that said otherwise. Then, when we had called earlier they said that 2 we're not being covered by the insurance and we would need to either wait or pay out of pocket so we chose out of pocket because I need them ASAP. Well those meds weren't ready (even with the ready notification already sent) and they REFUSED to fill them for him, saying that they needed DOCTOR approval even though these weren't sent directly from my doc.....so we call my doc and tell her and she calls them and tries to get it straight. Well the woman in the pharmacy calls me after that and tells me basically that I am wrong and they will fill the unauthorized script and never refused to fill it and if we want it we will need to pay out of pocket.......we already told them that was the plan and to fill it way earlier so idk where THEIR miscommunication came from....possibly the fact that when you call the store you're actually calling a call center with no connection to the actual store. SMFH get it together Walgreens

I went to the Walgreens in Liberty, MO on W Kansas St. on 12/5/22 about 1 pm. I simply needed Claritan which must be purchased in the pharmacy. There was a sign on the door stating the pharmacy lobby was closed but the drive thru was open. So I proceeded to wait in the drive-thru for 15 minutes. When it was my turn, I was told that since the Claritan has to be signed for, which I had signed many times before, it had to be done inside. Since they were closed inside she said I would need to go somewhere else. So I then asked, just to be clear, that she was sending business away. She just nodded her head. This is among several instances where I have been unable to get allergy medicine because their lack of staffing. I do not recommend anyone supporting this location as their practices are not customer service friendly.

I have used this store for years but after waiting HOURS for my prescription to be filled. I AM done.Bye bye WalgreensI had to edit.So after asking three times very nicely and waiting for 2.5+ hours total, once in the morning and once in the afternoon all while watching person after person get their prescriptions filled... I decided to leaveThe clerk yelled very rudely as I was leaving (I was actually going to get the mgr) "Ohhhhh , Do you want me to just cancel?"I just stopped in my tracks. I could not believe it, like she owns me and I must wait since finally she decided to fill my script. I had to say something.I said "Well clearly you aren't going to work on it" She said again "So your cancelling?" "I said you can do whatever you want with that stick it, I don't care." Next thing I know she yelled at me something about the legal process.2 hours to put a steriod packet in a bag. She never said sorry and was very unprofessional. But I could see that no one cared (a good pharmacist would have realized that I did nothing wrong) so I left. I simply had another pharmacy transfer the script. I am sure the unprofessional people at Walgreens will try to purposely mess it up.Oh well, after almost 20 years of doing business there. I. AM. DONE.

The people working here are dedicated to their service but the place, especially the pharmacy, is SERIOUSLY Understaffed.Management needs to realize the frustration level is very high.You have good People, not assets.Treat them better before a Bad mistake is made. Get these people some help.BTW The 'appointment' I made was 30 minutes past due because your People have too much going on.

The people here in the pharmacy are nice, but they're incompetent. A prescription was called in at 10am, I show up at 430pm and they tell me they can't find the RX in the queue, call at 645pm and after talking to three people, someone says "oh we just found it 10 minutes ago, give us 30-40 to fill it." I've lived here for 3 years and every single time I have ever attempted to have an RX filled here, there's a problem. I have literally lived all over the world and had RXs filled in foreign countries and it's the folks here in Liberty that just can't seem to get their act together. Taking my business to Express Scripts.

I’m wondering how can a place like this get such a low rating? Well I found out, I went to take a COVID test on a Monday which was supposed to take 2hrs to complete, 48hrs later I get the results and that’s cause I had to go to the establishment and get my results. I asked them to email it to because my place of work wouldn’t except a paper stating I have COVID, and that they would have to email me something more concrete and of course I couldn’t get that either. Now I’m out of 3 days pay thanks to Walgreens. You guys did a wonderful job representing this low review you are already toting.

Been going there for years not by choice but have too. So not new to them one bit nor my doctor's , ins, ECT. Can't call in a refill especially lately, let alone actually reach the pharmacy. App and online always issues, say your orders is ready get there they didn't fill it right or not ran through insurance correctly knowing your disabled have you stand there yes up to two hours sometimes just have to leave, the other customers are not aware you did everything right was pre order said ready they let you take all the heat from other customers without explanation. Instead of calling about insurance issues or out of a med, they do nothing or send email so keep that glued to you.

Allan was a great help in the photo center. I never printed photos off using one of those kiosk machines. He was very patient with me and extremely professional while he was showing me how to operate the kiosk.Anna was the tech printing off my photos. She experienced some issues with a machine that was out of her control. She let me know if the delay, and still got my photos out in a timely manner!Thanks!

Visited the minute clinic with a sick kid this morning. Appointment was 8 am and we were in the pharmacy area waiting on antibiotics for strep by 8:20. Almost 3 hours for one prescription to be filled. There was no one else waiting while we were there. I’m sure there were other orders waiting to be filled but I feel like customers waiting should be handled first and even at that I’ve NEVER waited this long for meds.

I wish I could put a negative rating. The overnight pharmacist is an absolute witch. I called around midnight to ask about medicine I could give my 1yo who’s been screaming in pain because of HFMD & it’s gone on for 3 nights of no sleeping. She talked to me like I was an idiot, cut me off and hung up. I called back to ask a question and she acted like it was the most inconvenient thing she could have had happen. Fast forward I am at Children’s Mercy and they prescribe me to get a compound of Benadryl and another medication which my insurance DOES cover and I had this same problem the last time I went but she insisted that it “obviously didn’t” and I could pay for my medication or not get it at all. I told her the last time the pharmacist just had to call the doctor and as long as it was needed the insurance covered it. She cut me off sent me my insurance card and walked off. It seems every time I come here she’s working and she’s absolutely terrible. I would never advise going to this Walgreens.

If I could give a negative experience I would! One year ago my husband stopped using the Liberty Walgreens because he dropped off his RX to be filled, when he went back to pick it up they said they had no record of any RX being dropped off. Needless to say they "lost or misplaced" the prescription. No apology and no one accepted responsibility. Basically acted like he was just out of luck- that maybe he was mistaken and didn't actually drop off the RX to begin with.Today January 17th 2017, the same pharmacy is looking to find out what happened to an RX I dropped off on 12/28/2016. I did not need it filled that day, I told them I would call for it to be filled when I needed it. Last week 1/12/17 I called to have it filled and guess what!!?? They have NO record I dropped it off..... I just spoke to the Pharmacist Martin, who told me he would call me back after looking for it. I guess maybe it'll pop up? I asked him if a staff member is filling them for personal use?? He said no, but it is very odd.If you are needing a professional trustworthy dependable reliable pharmacy that doesn't lose your prescriptions!! DO NOT USE THE LIBERTY MO 24HR PHARMACY. THEY ARE A JOKE AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED! You have been warned
