Unfortunately, our experience with American Eagle was underwhelming from start to finish. After being picked up from the airport, we asked the chauffeur to make a stop, something that had already been discussed with the employee who provided me with the quote. While at our stop, I received a call from Katie who left a message stating that we made an uninformed stop and would incur another fee, in addition to the $100/hr that had been previously discussed. Fortunately, another employee returned my call and we managed to resolve the issue. On our day of departure, our chauffeur arrived 20-30 min early and was extremely rude. Several members of our party greeted him and he said nothing in return. Throughout the ride to the airport, he drove recklessly, exceeding speed limits — 62 mph in a 45 mph zone, 80 mph in a 65, and 65 mph in a 50 — often while driving through a curve. Upon arrival at the airport, members of my party thanked him for unloading our bags, and yet again, he remained silent, got in the sprinter, and left without a word. As a travel agent, I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to my clients, and I will be sharing my experience with fellow travel agents.
Update: The owner reached out to me directly to address the issue I experienced. I appreciate his willingness to listen and resolve the matter. His prompt response and commitment to customer satisfaction made a significant difference. Thank you for taking the time to make things right!
