I got engaged in November 2024, and my fiancé picked out a beautiful Vera Wang ring from Zales in Sacramento with my mom. In February 2025, we brought the ring to the Carlsbad, CA location for its initial inspection, cleaning, and resizing as part of the warranty process. After bringing it home, my fiancé noticed that the signature sapphire on the inside of the band was missing. Unfortunately, we live over 40 minutes from the nearest Zales, so getting back in right away was tough.
Today, we visited the Zales in Parkway Plaza to get the next required cleaning to keep the ring under warranty. That’s when we met Jackie — and I’m so grateful we did. Upon inspection, Jackie informed me that the Carlsbad location had never actually registered the ring or cleaned it — they had only resized it. I immediately felt overwhelmed and broke down in tears. Jackie was incredibly kind, understanding, and reassuring. When I explained the situation with the missing sapphire, she didn’t hesitate to assure me that they would take care of everything.
Jackie’s professionalism and compassion turned a very stressful moment into one filled with hope. I left feeling heard, supported, and truly cared for. I plan to return in the coming week for the next steps, and I genuinely look forward to seeing her again.
