We have an issue with this place! This place has a habit of doing things that they DO NOT have to do. What I mean is, they go out of their way to make sure everything is right! We have been customers of Winn since 2008 and there's a reason why! Yes, this is a Car Dealership, yes, you still need to do what you usually need to do to buy a new car, but the big difference is, how they treat you during the purchase process and especially after.
So....we were in a bind and needed new tires on our 2023 Tiguan because our son ran over a big nail that punctured the tire. Luckily our son was close to home and the tire didn't go flat, so he was able to get home safely. It was when we bought new tires and were about to get them installed when we discovered we had wheel locks, but no key. It's a 2023 and we've owned it for only 1 year and a half and never had to get new tires. Time was of the essence since we were leaving on a road trip in a few days. So we contacted the dealer and spoke with Gary, the Sales Manager about our issue and he was very sympathetic and got on it right away. He got us into service at the dealership the next morning. Alvin our service advisor and Margie (who just started, it was her 1st day on the job) got on it once I got there. Service got the old locking lug nuts off and put a new set on with the key. Once that was done, we went to get the new tires installed. CRISIS AVERTED!!!!! This is something that they didn't have to do! But they did it.
It goes back to this.....If there's an issue after the purchase, they will go the extra mile to make it right. I've been to other dealers with issues and it's "Oh Well, you took delivery, it's your issue now" or my favorite answer I always get "that's what the Warranty is for". I also get, "oh, that's not covered and you will need to pay for that!" Everyone at Winn from the GM to the Sales Managers and even the service managers are down to earth people who actually care and it's a reflection of the dealership being a family owned business. I know it's "cliche" to say they make you feel like family....because they don't, they make you feel like a valued customer who's happiness and satisfaction is paramount to their business! I can tell you they have helped us on more than one occasion even if they didn't have to....but they did, and that's how you earn and retain repeat customers.
