Over the years I've worked in prominent recording studios in the Bay Area having performed on a number of movie soundtracks including "Unbearable Lightness of Being" (Fantasy Studio), "Eat a Bowl of Tea" (Russian Hill Recorders), and "Tucker," (Skywalker Ranch), and small ensemble projects at Hyde Street Studios, to name a few.More recently I have worked on projects at Whip Records and must say that Whip is right up there with these well-established studios. One session was a band demo and another a 13 piece salsa band project recorded live. I'm very happy with my experience, final product, and customer service received at Whip. The studio has a rebuilt, well-maintained Steinway piano and a diverse selection of the best microphones and outboard gear that you'll find in only the highest quality studios.David Landon, owner and engineer, is knowledgable, efficient, hard-working and really knows his way around the studio.I whole-heartedly recommend Whip Records for any recording project large or small.
