At the register I went to, the belt was so, so dirty. I went to hand the light pink purse/backpack to the cashier because I didn’t want it getting all dirty. The cashier just looked at me confused and pointed to the belt. I said, “I don’t want to set it down and get it dirty” she looked offended, and slowly took the purse out of my hands. The rest of my checkout experience, she didn’t say one word to me. When she was done ringing up the items she just looked at the register, then at me, then at the register again.. I had to find my total on the screen of the CC reader.
No eye contact, no words, was bothered by me wanting to keep my newly purchased Christmas gift clean.
Like, seriously, Walmart?? I know it’s the Holidays and you need employees, but for real, a little customer service goes a long way. I will do everything in my power to not shop here again. You might want to reconsider employing people who don’t care about their job at all. 🤷♀️🤷♀️
