I will say I am glad they have more checkout lines available... but you need people to be at them working. There were 3 people standing at the scan and go that were not helping people, and at least 1 -2 of them could have been running another register. It doesn't take 3 people to tell customers that scan and go is not the same as self check out.
Also, all the toiletry items are locked up. If you're going to do that. Then, have someone readily WILLING and able to help you when you need the items. I literally had a staff member look at me in the aisle, make eye contact, and keep walking while I was raising my hand to ask for help. I had to chase him down (that's how fast he was moving to get away from the situation). All I needed was face wash. It took 10 seconds to unlock, pull my item, and close it up. My partner had to find a person to send to me to help. The other person wouldn't even come to the aisle, make any type of acknowledgment other than a nod, and whisper into his mic.
I'm also trying to understand the constant police presence. Is it necessary? I've never been to the store and not seen a cop there. Is there a sub-station there?
