We usually do our shopping at Walmart. I went there yesterday morning at 6:00 a.m. when they opened and it was kind of a cluster all of the stockers were restocking shelves and had boxes and carts and you name it and whatever they were in the way. Some aisles I had to go to the next aisle and go around because I could not get through. It seems strange that they have all night to do this and they start when they open in the morning. It is always like this. I have gone early several times and it's always this way. I had one vendor who works for Frito-Lay actually quit what he was doing and moved his stuff out of the way so I could get what I needed which was very nice of him. I did appreciate it. I thanked him, Got my items and went on my way. Several of the Walmart employees acted like you were in their way, which is not very appreciated when you're the customer. I have worked several jobs that involve dealing with the public and I have always been of the opinion and been told by my employer that the public or the people you are dealing with always come first. I mean really. It makes sense without them you wouldn't have a job. We did our shopping online for a pickup today January 29th, 2025 when we got home and put the groceries away. Had looked at the date on the milk they gave us and it is only good until Monday February 3rd which is 4 days from now and then I had a bag of salad that we had ordered and it was outdated January 28th 2025 yesterday. I did not realize that because I thought they were better people than that to give you things that were outdated yesterday. So I opened it and dumped it out, threw the bag in the trash and then had to dig through the salad to get out all the slime and the brown lettuce. It was so bad I ended up throwing it away. It is a very nice convenience ordering online but the people they have that pick the produce and things for you. I wouldn't doubt the management tells them try to find things that are outdated soon so we can get rid of them cuz every time we have done that shopping online and gotten our things I like today they are outdated already. It's getting really old and we may have to start shopping somewhere else. If they don't find a way to change how they do the shopping for you, I'm getting to where I do not trust them anymore or maybe their employees just don't know how to pick things or can't read so they can't read the expiration dates on them. I guess that's another option. It's very frustrating. As you can see in the picture, the salad is best used by today actually. So if you don't plan on eating your things the same day you buy them, I wouldn't suggest buying them. Here is a picture of the expiration on the milk that is good for a whopping 4 days. Yeehaw.
