I'm leaving this review in hopes that changes are made. While working here, I once was scared to have any amount of down time, even though some associates who happen to be best friends with members of management can watch full length movies on their phones during shifts. Or how team leads have no problem spilling details about their personal life to associates, and then in the next breath become passive aggressive towards others for being on the Walmart app.
Openly curse aloud about how certain aisles aren't getting done faster but will have an associate assigned to "cardboard duty", all the while targeting certain associates for getting through 8 different aisles just for them to face a write up of "not being productive enough" right before the end of their shift.
This store's management is a complete and utter joke. Gone without a trace when you need them, but hyper vigilant enough to watch the cameras for hours on end. Need a boxcutter? Don't bother, you'll get a warning for "lack of productivity" if you walk to go get one. Or in my case, if you have to leave on time to take care of bills, they might tell you to simply go homeless if it means staying over.
Hypocritical to the letter. They will target associates who do a good job and force them into quitting or termination if you don't kiss up to them.
If you shop here, watch out for all the molded food on and under the displays. Out of date milk pushed to the front, or warm ham placed back on the shelf. This store is one bad day from being shut down. The people who work here pray that a health and safety inspector doesn't show up.
Overworked, underpaid, and no justice for the unheard.
