I have used Walmart Pharmacy at this location since I was in my early 20s and moved to Moore and never been treated as I was today. One of the medications I have filled has been on back order and when I called and asked about it yesterday I was told they were supposed to get 6 in and I was 6th in line for it to be filled and to call back at 3pm. Well, life got in the way, so I called at open of business today to ask if it was filled, and the male technician I got told me, "Yeah, I don't think that happened." I'm sorry, what?? Then he told me I must have called the wrong pharmacy... you know... the one that has been in my phone for nearly 2 decades. When I told him I promised it was and that I wish the guy the day before hadn't made it sound like a sure thing to get filled because I would have contacted my doctor he hung up on me. I didn't curse or yell or do anything to merit being hung up on. I was actually on the verge of tears when speaking to him. So I called back only for him to answer again and obviously recognized my number because he just slammed down the phone and put me on hold. Then when I got the pharmacist her way of excusing the techs behavior was they were dealing with the same issue with a lot of customers so "tempers were running high on both sides" when I was not angry, rude, or anything of the like. If someone cannot do their job without getting mad and hanging up on a customer that isn't being rude how do they deal with anyone? What a sorry excuse of unprofessional behavior from her team. If you don't want to deal with customers, find a different job.
