I would like to share my recent experience with one of the pharmacists, a young woman with orange hair. Unfortunately, I received some of the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. When I inquired about a flu shot, I was made to feel quite uncomfortable, as though my request was an inconvenience.
Even more troubling, when I asked about a refill for my diabetes medication, a medication that is essential for my health. I was told that they “didn’t have time” to send the request to my doctor and that I would need to handle it myself. This response was both dismissive and distressing.
As a result, I made the decision to transfer all of my prescriptions to another Walmart pharmacy. While I sincerely hope that, in the time since, this pharmacist has received additional training, I will not be returning to that location.
