UPDATE a few days later:
I called again on two different days, and wasn't left on hold again. Most of all, on the second day, a very awesome employee named Veronica went above and beyond to assist me in getting my issue resolved - even though it was the doctor office's errors that were holding up getting the medication. The complete 180 from my initial review, was not only appreciated, but impressive. The in-person visit was also great; however, they could really use some more people at the counter during spikes in pick-ups.

I called for an urgent reason this evening, was placed on hold immediately after they picked up, and was left there until I hung up after over ten minutes. All of this occurred after I called the first time, when it just rang and rang. I understand being busy, but check in with the phone, instead of abandoning the caller until they hang up. Now I have to go in and wait some more at the store, since I live over half an hour away and can't just go back when they decide to get their stuff together.
