I have used both CVS & Walgreens pharmacies for the previous 38 years! My experience has always been from well below average to average with both, giving a definite edge in customer service to CVS vs Walgreen's. My impression with both has been overworked, stressed-out pharmacy staff. I can only imagine how difficult it would be working in that type of environment! If I did rate Walgreen's, I'd give them three stars & CVS three & a half stars - out of five. Since I just switched over to Walmart (due to retiring and not having the traditional employer type coverage), I ended up at Walmart pharmacy since they are close to my home. I couldn't be ANY happier with them. My experiences with them have been excellent. They never seem to be overworked or stressed, I never seem to wait in line long and their pharmacy website is user friendly. And, their prices are much, much less than what Walgreens or CVS charge (in general). Now, if I were to rate the store and online customer service, that wouldn't be so pleasant! However, I have nothing but good feedback when it comes to this stores' pharmacy. Bravo pharmacy staff.
