!!!! DO NOT LIKE THE NEW PHARMACY MANAGER!!!!!
This new manager (Laurie) is making a habit of dropping patients. She is "protecting her license" by dropping costumers who have multiple health issues. She's playing god by overriding prescriptions from patient's doctors. The specialist sending the prescriptions have a comprehensive understanding of my medical history and collaboratively work to ensure medications are effective and necessary. This new manger will belittle you for filling a prescription that was sent in by your doctor as she knows best about this medication that you've been on for years and how this medication isn't working for you and your health problems (that she knows nothing about.) I rely on my doctors, who have a full picture of their medical history, to make the best treatment decisions, so it’s difficult when those prescriptions are disregarded without discussion by a person who doesn't know anything about my health conditions and diagnosis.
For the past few years, I’ve really appreciated the care this pharmacy has given when filling my prescription, but I am very disappointed to see this new manager treating patients so rudely for having complex medical needs that require multiple specialists. Seems a little like being discriminated against as in her opinion it's easier and safer for her license to fill the basic medications prescriptions.
