I don't use the pharmacy but have used the front many times. On the positive side, it's a visible and accessible location which makes it tempting. There's always an employee close to the register so you don't feel abandoned. On the negative side, 3 out of 4 cashiers will be engaged in some long drawn out conversation about mundane trivial things with the customers in front of me every single time I check out there. Someone with 4 items might be there for 5 or 8 minutes while they talk. Not only do they talk but they have no sense of urgency physically (most but not all). I tend to think of these small corners stores as a place to get something quickly so this is frustrating. If you like going slowly and socializing with the cashiers, then maybe you'll see this as a positive.Lately I've been testing out running into Ruler or Save-a-lot when I'm in a hurry if they have what I want, and as long as its not pay day for everyone I can practically sprint right through, despite customers having way more items on average.
