By far the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had.
I was discharged from the hospital and the prescription I needed was filled at this Rx.
The mic from the drive through was barely audible. I gave the pharmacy staff member my insurance card and a promotional card from the hospital that was given to me for a free month of the medication I needed. She told me she would look into if they accept the card for the meds or not and that if they don't accept it, my normal consurance payment would be charged. She said it wasn't ready yet and asked me to return in an hour. No issues with any of that, perfectly fine.
When I returned about 1.5 hours later, the staff member asked me my name. Again, mic was barely audible. I gave it to her and she first pulled up my daughter's info. I explained I was there for me and not my daughter. She pulled up my info and asked what I was there for. I explained I had come by about 1.5 hours earlier, what I was there to pick up, and that I had left a promotional card for the medication with the staff member I spoke to earlier.
This staff member said she knew nothing about the card and the medication had not begun being filled yet. Taken back, I asked if they had lost the promotional card I had given them earlier. She declined to answer and said she'd check on my meds.
Several times different staff members came to the window asking me questions about my meds. They all seemed confused. I gave them the discharge sheet from the hospital showing them exactly what was prescribed, how much, and that it was meant to be filled here.
After another 15 minutes (45 total minutes at the window), people behind me in drive up line started to cuss me out. Finally they came to the window but the amount they gave me was off by 28 units of the medication.
Rather than fight it out with them more I decided to take what I got and have my prescription filled correctly else where.
I cannot say this enough, I strongly recommend not doing business with this Walgreens. At least not the pharmacy. To be frank, their abilities on this transaction were negligent. It really was like they were out of their depth trying to fill a prescription.
