So I was standing in line for register #3 behind two Vons employees. Lisa the cashier/supervisor tells them that she opened register #1, and to come over to her, the two girls looked at me and said "Sir go ahead" so I said "thank you" and proceeded to register #1. Lisa looks at me confused and asks if I "cut in line", I said "no", but she doesn't believe me. I asked her "why would I lie?" she is trying to reply but stops herself, mumbling to herself that "she doesn't want to loose her job today, etc..." Very weird behavior, but whatever. She rings all my items up, and just as I was about to pay, she cancels my transaction, and throws my items from the belt to the register behind her, and says "You don't get to cut inline" and declines to take my payment, and starts ringing up the employee, girls that let me in front. Obviously, I get pissed off and demand to finish my transaction, she proceeds to deny and claiming that I cut in line. I turned to the two girls that let me trough to confirm, and they are seemingly stunned by the turn of events that they can't even say anything, and just raising their hands, but not really saying anything to help me. So I demand to call the manager. She says that "she is the manager", even though her badge says supervisor. So I'm standing there waiting until she processes their item and returns to me. Whey she gets back to me, my transaction is voided and she refuses to rescan my items to make a new transaction. Luckily this was right in front the customer service counter and the girl working there saw the whole thing, and processed my transaction again.
I don't know who allowed her to become a supervisor? She should be working in the freezer, to cool her attitude. Anyway I filed a complaint with the manager, hopefully she's been disciplined. I'd be curious to hear back and find out what was done about it.
