Monday, April 19, 2021: I bought $1,200 in furniture (two beds, two dressers, two night stands, sectional sofa, two lamps, coffee table, and kitchen table with chairs). Since I had two boys with no beds, Sharon offered to send sheets and comforters, also threw in a picture and rug. She also surprisingly offered free delivery and said she would send the mattresses immediately so we'd have a place to sleep, starting that evening. However, nobody showed up or called and I was told she lost the piece of paper. April 20, they brought the sofa and coffee table. The next day, April 21, they also said they were delivering but didn't show up or call. I called on April 22 and 23rd and was told they were bringing it but never showed up or called. On Monday, April 26, I drove to the store and asked, "Can we get all of the furniture in one place so I can have my mover pick it up?" (Some of it is in her storage area). Sharon wasn't there, but she did call later and said they would bring it "today", but it was another no show, no call. Tuesday, April 27, they brought more of it and stated she would bring it all week until I had it all. However, then didn't show up or call April 28, or 29th. Friday, April 30, I drove to the store and again asked, "Can we just get it all together so I can PAY my mover to pick it all up?" The "store manager" asked, don't you want the table finished (April 19 Sharon wanted to complete a coat of lacquer on the table, but never did.) I stated, at this point, I'm ready to just cut my losses and go. Today is May 1, 2021 (12 days after spending $1,200) and I just paid my mover $100 so I could get the table, the rest of the chairs and the night stand. I expect to never receive the rest of it (the other child's night stand and dresser, the two mirrors for both dressers, they didn't bring the slats for one of the beds although both had slats when displayed in the store, and the picture, sheets and comforters she was to "throw in"). I've been thrifting since the 80's with 12 stores on my regular shopping route (now I'm down to 11).
