Just had the absolute rudest interaction at this branch! The manager seems knowledgeable about the niche, but when I was here last week for a phone trade-in, she treated me like garbage. When I came back to turn in the older phone, the other girl said the same thing the manager told me last time: in order to complete the transaction, I had to wait for an hour until they could erase my phone, and there was no other way!
Here I am, sitting in the store, doing it my own way, erasing the content—and it worked in 5 minutes! They were going to make me come back again for a simple task! All that would be fine if they weren’t such jerks! I mean, I don’t expect to be pampered, but at least show some basic customer service and support.
I’m typing this while I’m still here, and after the phone was reset, she’s saying, “It can’t be done,” as if I’m stupid. Hahaha. The phone is starting up with factory settings right in her face! OMG.
I get that in this industry you deal with lots of pissed-off people, but I didn’t bring any of that energy or give any reason to be treated like trash!
Thanks, Verizon. 10 years with you, and you’ve been sucking lately—with customer service, prices, rewards, and, most importantly, the connection!
