First off, I never write reviews but UPS has given me such a horrible experience I had to complain.
I ordered a package that requires a signature and it turns out they only deliver from 2pm-6pm, the hours I’m at work. They tried to deliver my package and left a note saying they will try again or I can change my delivery time or delivery location online. So I go online and I get a technical error saying they are unable to do either. So I leave a note to the driver telling him/her all this information and to either sign for me or leave it at the facility for me to pick it up.
Second delivery attempt, they said they were unable to deliver it, and the driver must have ignored my note. So they are going to try again tomorrow during the same timeframe I’m not home. After a third attempt it will be sent back! So I call UPS at this number. I spent 30 minutes talking to the automated system giving me a bunch of options that don’t apply to me, hanging up on me on a few attempts, until I finally figured out how to talk to a real person without smashing my phone (say make a complaint).
When I finally talk to a representative they could barley speak English and sounded like they were from the other side of the planet. I told them about the website not working and how horrible the automated system is and they wanted to transfer me to technical support instead of help me get my package so I can help them fix their website! So I told the representative it’s not my fault your website is down, how do I get my package? She told me I need to contact the sender. The sender doesn’t arrange for me to pick up my package from ups at a facility or change your delivery times!!!
This is the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had. UPS should be ashamed. I can’t even chose who delivers my package, if I did I would never use UPS again. My package is probably going to be sent back after another failed delivery tomorrow. Your website is broken, your customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life, and your automated system belongs in the trash.
