So keep in mind, my car has about 280k miles on the clock. I started having issues related to a lean code that popped up on the dashboard. I tried everything to fix the problem; replaced fuel injectors, intake manifold gaskets, MAF sensor, swapped throttle bodies with a matching car…nothing worked. I swapped the O2 sensors, ignition coils, and spark plugs about 40k miles ago so I didn’t check those. It ended up being my mistake not to check those things out because after taking it to Randy at University Mazda, he was able to check my work and told me it was an O2 sensor that went bad. 3 months trying to fix the car myself and it took these guys about a week to check the car and confirm what was causing my lean code to turn on. Paid the diagnostic fee, picked up the car, got the OEM Mazda O2 sensor, car is working great. They did a stellar job wiping away my doubts and frustrations with my car so if I ever go to a dealer for issues I can’t solve myself, I’d gladly take it back to University Mazda. Because of them, I may actually reach the 300,000 mile mark on my car 🥹🥹
