I will echo the same sentiment as the other reviewer Rene' Vaka'uta did many years ago. They are still the same **vague and high headed** I read the response from the business, that they want to get foot traffic to store and so don't give out prices over phone. I am sadly going to refute that logic. You are going to loose me....I am not coming to waste my time when you can't even describe the product and price to a POTENTIAL customer. Businesses seek customers not shun them away by ridiculous answers.
Your explanation of being competitive in business completely lost me!! If you want to be competitive in business you have to do your research and be confidant that you are offering the best product, price and service to the customer. No one is forcing you to be cheap, but you should be in a position to make a logical statement as to why you do not disclose price or product details. It's not that hard to say ok two dozen specific rose is $xx for non members. Customers can definitely read the reviews and see you can't even match Safeway/Trader Jose price, and they are not wholesale stores. Each one of them beat your price and are happy to field customers' questions. Thats how you attract people to store and promote business.
