A container I was delivered by a mover and improperly set up so it fell off the jack, and (not the mover's fault) the door latch fell off the container. I was originally told the container would be replaced the following morning, but after calling support several times and them generally not being able to reach anyone at this location, I eventually got ahold of someone that tried to take immediate action by getting in touch with a general manager. Ultimately they said they would handle removing the tipped container, but due to the mover setting it up improperly, they wouldn't ship a replacement unless I was willing to pay for it. I can understand not replacing the container since only some of the damage (the latch) was their responsibility, but I wound up losing a whole day since this wasn't sorted until just about the close of business hours which meant the mover couldn't pick up a replacement container the same day, and it also meant I couldn't eat the shipping costs to get a replacement done the same day. I am likely going to have to adjust my departure flight and may need to make another flight back to the Bay Area to finish packing up my belongings due to the lost time.
