Read MoreReceived excellent service yesterday from Michael, the Owner of Tony's Tire Service. I had something puncture my front tire as I was driving. Luckily, I was not that far away and was able to make it home before all the air was out. After taking the flat tire off and putting on the spare, I googled Tire Repair Shops. Tony's was rated at the top and I like the reviews, and the shop was nearby in East Providence. Turns out the reviews were spot on and I was very satisfied with the service I received. The puncture hole was close to the side wall, maybe 2 inches, so I really needed someone who had a lot of experience with tire repairs. Michael and his Dad Tony had run the business for 50 years, with Michael taking over after his Father passed away last December. I was able to watch Michael do the whole repair job, and the time and effort he put in to take the tire off to make sure whatever had punctured it had not gone through the sidewall was appreciated. The actions that he took to patch and plug the hole was impressive and detailed, and I was very confident that his repair would hold up. My tires are fairly new, so being able to save the tire was important to me, and most tire places either won't repair punctures near the side wall, or just don't know how to do it properly. My recommendation is to take your flat tire to Michael, and if it can be fixed safely, he's the guy to trust. You can't go wrong with Tony's Tire Service. Highly recommended!!!
