Yesterday, we ventured into this enchanting shop for the first time, and were glad we did!
What a fascinating collection of unique items, some antique treasures, some quirky knick-knacks, other curiosities, and all reasonably priced.
We came in for book shelves, which we found, and stayed to wander.
We discovered a veritable museum of marble-topped night stands, armoires, hand-woven table-runners, a ventriloquist's puppet, a tin man made from recycled cans, beautiful frames, rare books, a wooden globe, and, of course, a pedograph. What, you don't know what a pedograph is? It is made from wood and steel, and measures your feet, of course.
Jeff was welcoming and a very interesting shop host. (He also happens to be an artist of whimsical images.)
We highly recommend the Thrifty Queen for a fascinating experience and some wonderful finds!
