TL; DR: A waste of time and money.Normally, I wouldn't write a negative review about a shipping store because it seems petty and inconsequential. But my experience today was compelling enough to change my mind. I went in this morning to buy a box for an item that I knew the dimensions of that needed to be shipped today. The woman helping me brought out a box, but said she "would hate to have me purchase the box and not have my item fit." She also very clearly stated to bring the item in and they would package it to make sure it fit because -- her words -- "it's part of the service we provide." Great. I did exactly that - went home, brought my item in, ready to go. Upon my return, the man helping me brought out a bigger box that what I needed, told me the charge for packaging my item would be $10.95, and when I objected to the packing charge, told me I could not package in the store, but would let me do it just this once. No thanks. I unwisely purchased the bigger box, returned home, packaged the item, and shipped through another service. I've been a regular here for a long time. I'm disappointed - it took three trips in 5 degree weather to ship a package and I overpaid to do so. As a small business owner, that is neither petty or inconsequential. You lost a customer today.
