On Sunday June 23rd I did have a class scheduled with The Sugar Connection. I drove a hour to the event and it was unfortunately canceled 45 minutes prior to. We were told we could book another event but unfortunately for my friend and I no other classes could fit our schedule. I kindly sent a message asking for a refund. At checkout I did pay $110.50 and was told I could only be refunded $91.00 due to a coupon I was told I could use towards the class. We did have several conversations back and forth regarding the extra $19.50 with no resolution. Just beware if you pay for a class per the companies rules "Full refunds are not allowed" even if they cancel the class.In response to the companies reply I did not come to slander anyone’s company but yet to leave a honest review on what has transpired. I would never take advantage of any company. I was looking for a honest refund since the class was canceled 45 minutes prior to the class. As seen in the screenshots I did not try to pull a fast one with coupons. To book a class it asked me to download the “Spaces by Wix” app which then showed the coupon code I could use. Not once did it state it was only for “Fathers” I thought it was a Father’s Day sale. I was ok with the terms and conditions which is why I booked the class. I had no intentions to cancel and look for a refund. I simply asked for what I paid to be refunded since her schedule had only June and July dates. The company did offer a full refund for a future class but like stated no classes shown worked in my friends or I schedules. It was never stated I had two years to reschedule a class. Even with a two year window I am not comfortable leaving a credit of $111 with the economy where it stands and companies closing. As far as a private class offered as seen in the screenshots the company did offer if I had other people attend the class which I assume they would be charged. They also did offer to pay for transportation but I was not willing to take their money which is why I am so confused why the $19.50 is such an issue to refund. I was simply asking for a refund for what I did pay since the class was canceled and not rescheduled. Once again this was my truthful review and my experience with the company. I never intended to slander any company. I am also unsure why ethnicity was mentioned in their response.Sincerely,Jessica
