My nephew took me to Jacob’s. A tiny mall type building with different stores. Mary, owner of The Rocking Horse, Greeted us with a welcoming grin. Kind words. Showed us how to play Where’s Waldo when my nephew mentioned trying. A game hosted by local businesses.
The environment is very child friendly. My nephew was allowed to try gadgets and look around with curiosity. As a retired educator noticed many opportunities for fun purchases. Puzzles to learning games are available. Clothing, baby mom gear, more.
What was especially cool is a previous patron who moved away was visiting with her grown daughter. Mary was jubilant to greet and chat with a family who stopped by from when she first bought the store.
Child’s paradise for imaginative play things to do. Gift ideas for friends.
