I am new to the area and haven't had a haircut in a long time. I have been disgusted by barbers greeting me with "Appointment Only" when I walk through the door and when they do cut hair, it's an awkward silent overcharged session making hair cuts just another chore I needed to knock out. One day at work, I had a customer talk greatly about this barbershop and I decided to give it a try.
When I first walked in, it was late and they were fully booked but Peter took my number down and offered to get me a haircut first thing the next morning. Even when something came up, he was willing to cut my hair after closing since he promised me a cut that day. He was very friendly to all the clients including me, and still giving me an amazing haircut after a long day of cutting heads. I usually fear being the last one because a barber might be exhausted and do poor work, but Peter still did an amazing job and gave me the same hospitality if I was the first person in that day.
This experience brought back the feel I had in High school hanging out at a barbershop, having the barbers not be just people but even your friends, and coming out with the look you wanted. I have so much great things to say, and I am looking forward to the next session. Keep up the good work!
