I have always shopped at Lowe's in Thomasville because we didn't have a (Home Depot). Since we have moved to Albany, I have been in Lowe's and Home Depot on many occasions. I can really see a difference in my shopping experience between the two stores. Home Depot has been my savior on this big project that I'm currently working on. The guys in lumber have been fantastic. No matter what day or time I go into the lumber department to have plywood or boards cut (which is almost daily)... the following guys have gone out of their way to help me. Kendrick, Rob, James, Bailey. I have told them that getting wood cut here at Home Depot is faster than a fast food restaurant. They are always super polite and help me with the heavy plywood. Also, the older black gentleman that loads (in the lumber department) has always been helpful, too. He seems to be on top of keeping the buggys and carts out of the parking lot, if he sees you with a load of wood in your cart, he will follow you out to your vehicle without even being asked. My overall experience with Home Depot has been awesome. This store appears not to be chaotic like Lowe's.
