I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Home Depot, but today I witnessed something deeply troubling. A Hispanic man in the store was blatantly ignored by two customer service associates. Both of them refused to assist him, each walking away while saying, "He doesn’t even speak English." Immediately after, they approached us and asked if we needed help. I politely declined and pointed out that the man did. The associate simply replied, "But I asked *you* if you needed help." Despite my insistence, they walked away, still refusing to assist the man.
After leaving, I called the store and spoke with a manager named Jared. He assured me that he would address the situation and prevent this from happening in the future. It was heartbreaking to witness such unfair treatment, and I truly hope Home Depot takes meaningful steps to ensure all customers are treated with respect and equality, regardless of their background or language. This experience left me incredibly disappointed.
