Thai Moon Spa does not disappoint. My therapist, Sophia, was top-notch and is one of the best Thai therapists I’ve ever received a massage from. A Thai native who has been in the U.S. for less than three years, Sophia’s expertise was immediately evident the moment she worked on my knots. I later found out she used to work at a hospital in Thailand, helping patients relieve muscle pain and spasms.
Although I had some difficulty understanding her, she made a genuine effort to communicate and address my needs, such as identifying areas that were extra sore or ensuring I wasn’t allergic to any oils or ointments. She was very thoughtful and attentive.
I chose the 90-minute deep tissue massage, and Sophia didn’t waste a single minute. She was thorough and meticulous, making sure to reach the deepest layers of muscle to release the knots. By the end of the session, my entire body felt not only lighter but almost as if it was floating—she was that good!
I also appreciated that the spa was very clean and organized. One unique detail I noticed was how they publicly display tip guidelines for their therapists, ranging from “Good” to “Superior,” which shows they care about recognizing their staff’s efforts. Additionally, they’ve put up clear warning signs to protect their female therapists, emphasizing that inappropriate requests during massages are not tolerated.
Thai Moon Spa is legit, thoughtful, and professional. It’s clear the therapists are happy working there, and it reflects in the quality of service. I will definitely be back!
