Stopped here to get gas, buy some travel snacks, and use the restroom - not in that order. The ladies room was occupied, and it was a man who exited - which I have no problem with. He was wiping his hands on a paper towel, so apparently he did wash his hands. 👏 He proceeded to man the checkout counter, so okay… an employee. I entered the ladies room and immediately decided I wouldn’t be using it. It appeared that someone peed all over the seat, not bothering to lift it first, and they managed to wet the floor in front of the toilet as well. I’m not above wiping up a little sprinkle left by the prior user, though I am never happy about it, but this was too much! I can’t be certain that the employee made the mess, but there’s no question that he left it that way.
I left without using the restroom or making a purchase. I went across the street to Shell, instead. In the restroom at Shell, there was a sign posted that I especially appreciated. It said, “Your habits are a reflection of YOU… clean up after yourself.”
