Poor Service at Starbucks in Super Target, Colorado Springs
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the Starbucks located within the Super Target at 3810 Bloomington St, Colorado Springs, CO 80922.
Upon placing my order, the cashier, who identified herself as Janele, erroneously added an extra coffee to my purchase. When I brought this to the attention of the attendant, who introduced herself as Madson, she acknowledged the mistake and offered a refund but insisted that I rejoin the queue to process it. Given that the error was not on my part and considering I had my infant waiting in the car with my husband, I found this request unreasonable. After expressing my concerns, Madson curtly directed me to seek a refund at Target’s customer service desk, located on the opposite side of the store.
Reluctantly, I rejoined the line at Starbucks, where Janele appeared unsure of how to process the refund. Eventually, Madson, displaying a displeased demeanor, processed the refund. During this time, I noticed a security guard nearby, which made me feel coerced and intimidated, leading me to believe they might have been summoned by the staff.
I am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional behavior exhibited by both Janele and Madson. Such conduct tarnishes the reputation of Starbucks and diminishes the experience for loyal customers like myself.
