Super Heroes Comic and Games is a store I’ve enjoyed visiting frequently. They carry a great selection of cards, comics, and games, which has made it a go-to spot for enthusiasts like myself. The store is generally well-stocked, and the environment is inviting for collectors and casual shoppers alike. However, during my most recent visit, I experienced an issue that left me disappointed. I went in to purchase a couple of boxes of trading cards, which were clearly marked at $115 per box. When I inquired about buying two, I was informed that the price had just increased to $125 per box, despite the marked price. The reasoning provided was that the store had only been open for six minutes, and the price adjustment hadn’t been updated beforehand. While I understand price changes can happen, it would have been more professional to honor the clearly displayed price and then update it afterward to avoid customer frustration. As a result, instead of finalizing a $230 sale, I decided not to proceed with the purchase.Pricing transparency and customer trust are key for any business. In this case, it felt like a missed opportunity to prioritize the customer experience. I hope this feedback helps improve processes in the future, as I’ve otherwise enjoyed my past visits to Super Heroes Comic and Games.
