My wife and I recently visited this store to buy a bodysuit for her costume, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We were unsure about the sizing and asked for assistance. Based on the advice of multiple employees, we were told to purchase both a size L and XL to see which would fit better, with the assurance that we could return the one that didn’t fit. They specifically mentioned that according to their store policy, the only items that couldn’t be returned were wigs, as stated on their website.
Taking their advice, we purchased both sizes. However, when we returned to the store to return the XL bodysuit that didn't fit, we were suddenly informed that we could not return it. This was incredibly frustrating and felt like a bait-and-switch situation. Not only were we misinformed by multiple employees, but there were also no visible signs anywhere in the store indicating that bodysuits were non-returnable. The only signage displayed was near the wigs, clearly stating that wigs were non-returnable, which only added to the confusion.
What makes this situation even worse was the poor customer service we received from some of the employees when we tried to address the issue. They were indifferent, offered no explanation, and seemed unwilling to resolve the situation, leaving us feeling dismissed and frustrated. Why would your employees confidently tell customers that items can be returned, only for us to find out later that this isn’t the case?
This lack of accountability and professionalism is completely unacceptable, and it feels like a total waste of money. I strongly advise management to better train their staff and ensure that customers are provided with accurate information regarding returns. Additionally, proper signage should be displayed in-store to avoid misleading customers. No one likes being deceived or treated poorly after spending their hard-earned money.
We won’t be returning to this store again, and I suggest others be cautious if considering a purchase here.
