I have been a Spectrum customer for nearly a decade and the employees at this store gave me the worst customer experience. When I tried to reestablish my account at my new house, the employee gave me some fake response saying he did not have “permissions” and there was some kind of “system errror”. He made no effort to assist me in any way other than to call customer service.
I called customer service and they moved my account to my new address in 20 minutes.
I returned back to the store to pick up a router and modem. A different employee who working there said that they ran out of routers and modems. This was incredibly frustrating that this is the second instance that the employees at this store failed to provide basic customer service. What kind of location fails to properly stock equipment for customers? The employee could not answer basic questions like when to expect a restock of equipment and ended his conversation with “if you don’t like it, you can cancel your service with Spectrum.” Sorry guys, but I can’t imagine continuing employment of someone who encourages customers to leave a service because they failed to do their job.
Anyways, I was back on the phone with the Spectrum reps, explained the unprofessionalism I had to deal with at this location. They shipped me a router and modem and I received both the following day.
Like I said earlier, I’ve been a customer with Spectrum for nearly ten years and have always received timely assistance to routine and a-typical problems. This experience has taught me to not waste time with the employees at this store and just stick to the reps on the phone.
