ownership is unprincipled; only requesting face masks during pandemic, INCLUDING their employees (who told me they were "optional", only after I noticed the cashier not wearing one). they have a plastic shield up, but the cashier room is small; another case of freeloading on others to do the right thing--most customers wear masks, but EMPLOYEES are not req'd...so they are piggybacking on others' good graces to keep THEM safe. I didn't realize it until one day when one employee was not wearing one. when asked, he said it was optional.
I will be taking my business elsewhere and my friends will follow. their prices are higher than others anyway; I only took my business there because they had free air (which is unusual these days), and I thought that was a good thing to encourage as a principle. now, principles regarding mask-wearing in a health pandemic outweigh that advantage.
