TLDR: Honest pricing, equal to KBB. Great sales, finance and support staff. Keep it simple, choose Silver Star.I've been coming here to service my car for over two years. Each time better than the last. From my service rep to the reception and garage crew, I am recognized and treated well. I've been here for warranty repairs for the most part, so this feels like simply good service over anything. For this reason, I decided to get my new(er) vehicle with Silver Star. For starters, I inquired with the Manhattan dealership to see an E300 around 3pm on Thursday. I then inquired about an identical car at 4pm with Silver Star. I heard back from Silver star within 15 minutes and the Manhattan location after about an hour. Not to MB Manhattans fault, but it's worth mentioning. Which brings me to the next step in the process...Greg scheduled my appointment after I sent a request. I planned on coming in Friday at 6PM. Greg changed my appointment for the same day just an hour and a half later. Which, I loved. Talk about efficient. When I arrived, Greg met me and paired me with my salesman, Jay. Before recapping the purchase, it's also worth mentioning that some reviewers don't like that they bounce from Greg to a salesman. Which, is a little weird to me. Jay is a salesman. Greg schedules the appointments. If Jay was in charge of scheduling appointments, he would spend less time with you (or any customer) during a sale. This seems like a very simple and productive process to me.After meeting Jay, we went to the car I wanted to see. It was simple, as I knew what I was looking for, but Jay was very friendly, professional and cool during the process. I was allowed to take my time even though they were about to close. I connected my phone and just sat for a bit. Checked for the wear and tear on the vehicle and ultimately decided for myself that I wanted the car, no pressure applied.Since it was 10PM at this point, I submitted my application and left. The next morning, with barley 12 hours passing, Jay had me approved and scheduled to pick up the vehicle at 1PM. Plates swapped, title misplaced (yes a ridiculous mistake on my part). Finally, I met with the finance manager who answered a lot of my questions about the history of the vehicle, based on his knowledge of the E class. He was friendly, easy to deal with and probably wanted me out of the seat more than he wanted to sell me on the warranty. This was important to me, again, I felt no pressure to make any decision at any point. To be fair, I always extend the MB warranty and it was a pretty simple negotiation. I left with the nicest car I've ever owned and the best APR I've ever had. Wonderful job all around. The car is in great shape, but if I have any warranty issues like some others have mentioned, I will update this review. However, dealing with this staff for years, I have no concerns.
