I was there today to pick up my antibiotics because I have strep throat. I was standing in line behind a gentleman, waiting for my turn when an older gentleman who works there asked me if I was picking up medication to which I replied yes. He told me to go to the back counter, which I thought was strange because I have been there many times and have always picked up my meds at the register.
The girls sitting there told me to get back in line, to which I replied that the gentleman had just asked me to get out of the line and go back there. They giggle and the older gentleman grabs my medication and takes it to the front and tells me to stand by the register. The cashier then tells me to get back in line, to which I reply that I was pulled out of the line and told to go to the back then to the register. She says Yea but that guy was first.
At this point I'm livid because I have a fever and I'm in a lot of pain and I don't have time for all this. I get back in line from where I was pulled out as the line has already gotten longer. I could hear the girl in the back laughing. I got my meds. Nobody apologized. It was very humiliating and embarrassing. I can't believe nobody had it in them to say sorry or take control of the situation.. or at the very least not laugh.
