This is a perfect hideaway, off the beaten track. In the middle of nowhere, poor cell service makes you're location untraceable. Property and rooms are old dated but that kind of makes it cool. There are no convenience stores or restaurants within miles of this property, so arrive with snacks and beverages. No room service, and the rooms hardly look like the were cleaned. TV and entertainment is limited so unless you like solitude and wandering around rough terrain, bring things to keep yourself and especially your kids occupied. Rooms are small and sparsely decorated. I recommend you also bring your own pillows, blankets and toiletries I don’t think they even stock the rooms with the usual supplies found in most motel rooms. NO Wi-Fi SERVICE - location is VERY remote. But, if you’re a movie or television buff and want to check out one of the most filmed locations in California-then this motel should definitely be on your Bucket List. It had been used in 1000’s of movies and TV shows.
