Read MoreI really wanted a burl coffee table made of redwood and ‘virtually’ stumbled across this place after many hours of looking at different Bay Area businesses online. On a Sunday afternoon, I called and left a message, and they returned my call the same day to confirm they had a few coffee tables I could look at. They mentioned they usually close around 5pm but would stay open since they knew I was coming down.
So I drove down, parked on the street in front of the business (house across from the high school) and walked in. Inside there were sculptures, animal figurines, wall clocks, bowls, plates, and lot of other things - all made of redwood.
Of course there were several tables made of redwood, all very reasonably priced compared to other Bay Area redwood table makers. They mentioned they had over 50 years of experience with table making and their beautiful work backs up that claim.
The owner Norma and her daughter Nancy were absolutely wonderful to talk to and made the whole experience terrific.
