I have been a regular patron of this convenience store for over two years now. Recently, however, they lost my business. This was my normal spot to buy beer. They were always a little more expensive than grocery stores ($34 for a 30 pack of Coors Light), which is to be expected in a gas station. However, I went in a couple of weeks ago to buy a case of beer and they raised their prices to almost $39 for a 30 pack of Coors Light. This is absolutely ridiculous. When I got rung up, I was shocked. I asked the cashier, “wow, why did y’all go up, why are y’all so expensive now?” He replied, “well the owner says we’re a ‘venience store, so you pay for the ease.” This is absurd, it’s straight-up price gouging. Walmart (5 minutes away) sells a 30 pack for $27, and Buc-ees (10 minutes away) sells a 24 pack for $18. Don’t buy anything from here unless you intend on being ripped off.
