I go to this Safeway solely to use the key cutting machine so i can't comment on it as a grocery store, but it generally appears clean and well stocked if slightly odd in its choice of goods for the locked shelves

Same as any other Safeway. One new change to this location is that: They have an actual police presence there at all times now. I believe one if not all of them have access to the cameras on their mobile devices. So shoplifters beware.

One stop shop for all your home needs. It's eerily similar Jewel-Osco for someone coming from the mid-west. Portions/quantities are ideal for a single. They do have great deals sometimes. Love their to-go options especially the desserts

Plenty of parking. Not busy inside, no lines at self-checkout. Products were merchandised well. Produce was fresh. Bought plant-based meat, by Beyond Meat. Bought bakery items, french rolls & bagel.

5 dollar Fridays. Always look forward to this! 8 piece fried chicken! Can't beat it! 4 pork buns-5 bucks, yes! Greek salad; 4.99, yes again! Sushi, yes! Etc... The only downside: CARTS! They keep disappearing, especially Fridays when 5buck fried chicken is featured.

Come after 10pm for the variety freak show - usually someone stealing a rotisserie chicken and getting caught while eating it, or stuffing loaves of bread in their pants. Props to the security service for doing their very best.

I love The Mission District! Safeway always has the groceries I need. They have the knowledge to cater to the neighborhood . Of course when you use your Safeway card the discounts are great. Thank you Safeway.

I love the Safeways on 4th and King and 7th and Cabrillo there always clean and food always looks good meaning cooked foods, produce , sushi, and deli food everything always looks fresh and not like it been sitting there allday.
