I hate three things: car dealerships, mechanics, and dentists. You usually dread dealing with any of them because of the reputation, the hassle, and the games involved. With dealerships, it’s the pressure, the back-and-forth, the financing tricks, the added fees, and the multiple credit hits that can damage your score.
I’m a researcher by nature, so I was intentionally looking for a dealership that didn’t play those games—clean Carfax reports, no hidden fees, solid reviews—and that’s how I found Royalty Auto Sales. They’re about 20 minutes from my house, and I went to check out a 2019 Ford Transit cargo van to help expand my business.
When I arrived, the van was clean and in great condition. I met Hector, who gave me the keys and let me test drive it without the usual pressure of having a salesperson in the passenger seat. That was a big plus for me. Driving alone lets you get a better feel for the vehicle and sometimes notice things that a dealer might try to steer you away from—literally.
During my test drive, a check engine light came on. When I returned, I spoke to Anthony, another sales rep, and they quickly came out with a scanner to check the code. Despite that issue, I was ready to move forward, and the financing process was incredibly smooth—start to finish took maybe 30 to 40 minutes. No games, no back and forth.
Anthony promised they would fix the check engine light properly—not just clear it—and while I was a bit nervous, they absolutely did right by me. A week after my purchase, the van is running great. They were transparent, efficient, and professional. Best of all, there was only one credit inquiry, which I really appreciated. I was worried they’d run my credit through multiple banks like other dealers do, but they didn’t.
All in all, I’m extremely satisfied with the service and my purchase. Royalty Auto Sales delivered what they promised, and that’s rare in this business.
