This was my first time going to Rocket Fizz at City Creek, Salt Lake City. I was looking for sugar free candy, not as much for me as it was for one of my nephews that is also diabetic. I found an excellent variety. However, what impressed me the most was the kindness of the staff. In particular Brandon, a cashier, who gave me conversation that it felt so real, interested in me and not only a “how you doing, did you find everything you need?” But real conversation, making me feel good with his friendly disposition. I mentioned to my sister when I exited the store how nice that young guy was. I told him I was not living in the States, but I was actually visiting family and friends, and he said “if I don’t see you again I hope you have a great stay” Who does that?! He’s attention towards me made me feel special and appreciated as a customer. Of course this is not just good training at work but rather a good education from home. I did not see his face because he was wearing a mask, which I respect very much, but I wish he could know what a wonderful job he is doing, “and if I don’t see you again Brandon, I hope you have a great life”.
